Taking place at Kehilat Ma'arav in Santa Monica, JCamp West will cater to children in West LA from Kindergarten–5th grade and feature an experience centered around Judiasm and exploration.
Pricing: $625/week (includes care from 8 a.m.–5 p.m.)Single week registration is an option.

-- JCamp West is the only Jewish day camp serving elementary campers in West LA.
-- As a day camp focused on community building through meaningful relationships and shared experiences, we take the mitzvah of spreading joy seriously as we strive to make every day the best day ever by creating an environment which fosters creativity, self confidence, ruach (spirit), and fun!
-- Shabbat is the best day of the week at JCamp West. Each Friday, we will highlight the fun and special-ness of Shabbat through music, dance, prayers, special snacks, and more!
-- Our five values of Joy, Community, Respect, Creativity, and Growth weave throughout everything we do from beginning our day in morning circle to singing after lunch to celebrating our friends throughout the week.
-- Campers in this age group are starting to grow their sense of independence and learning to truly advocate for themselves. JCamp West offers opportunities for them to learn responsibility and accountability in a safe space with the support of caring counselors to back them up.
-- Campers are also beginning to explore emotions and friendships and JCamp West is a great place to do this with our focus on mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health.
-- Staff are trained on welcoming campers with open arms and helping them connect with others, try new things and create memories together.

Chem Kidz
Week 1Chemistry is amazing! Conduct physical and chemical experiments and learn what makes them work. Learn about atoms and the Periodic Table as you investigate Elephant Toothpaste, grow your own crystals, and so much more! Chemistry has never been so fun!
DIY Dreamhouse
Week 1Design your very own Dream House! We’ll spend 5 days decking out the ceiling to the floors, making mini furniture, custom paint colors, fun and funky wallpaper, and more. Maybe a mini gallery wall or little potted plants? Possibly a spiral staircase and cozy indoor hammock? Campers will use an assortment of recycled materials, wood, fabric and more to make their homes come to life. The only limit is your imagination.
STEM LEGO®
Week 1Master your engineering skills with Play-Well TEKnologies and tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture through engineer-designed projects. Projects are rotated seasonally to ensure that even returning students get a new experience, so join us to design and build as never before and explore your craziest ideas.
Animal Adventures LEGO®
Week 2Let your imagination run wild with tens of thousands of LEGO® parts as we design and build leaping dolphins, buzzing beehives, and towering giraffes. Play, create, and learn in a world inspired by the animal kingdom. Design and build as never before and explore your craziest ideas.
Weird Wacky Science
Week 2Come join us for some fun with Weird and Wacky Science! New, cool, and hands-on experiments each week! This class is filled with fun science activities: amazing crystals, magnetism, static electricity, gravity, and so much more! Experience the Scientific Method as never before!
Art Explorers
Weeks 2 & 3Art is all about creativity and turning your thoughts and experiences into something tangible. In this specialty, we will explore different mediums and create beautiful works of art. Students will be encouraged to dive into their own interests and embrace their style. We will also learn about different artists and how they have influenced art. This is a wonderful class that will foster self-expression as well as art education.
Spy Kids
Week 3Take fingerprints, decode secret messages, search for clues, go on a scavenger hunt, and decipher our Escape Room! Explore the fascinating world of solving mysteries and develop observation and reasoning skills! Every student also receives their very own ID Badge and detective kit!
Pokémon LEGO®
Week 3Calling all Pokémon trainers! With the Pokémon Championship approaching, join our enthusiastic PlayWell Instructors as we build and catch our favorite Pokémon, rescue Pikachu from Team Rocket, take a ride on the S.S. Anne to uncover rare and mystic Pokémon, and battle to see who will hold the title of Pokémon Master. Come along on our journey to catch 'em all!

Dear JCamp Families,
I am so excited for this new adventure in Santa Monica! JCamp West is the only Jewish day camp on the Westside, offering a high-quality experience run by professionals with a commitment to mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health.
JCamp West promises to be the best combination of fun, growth, and community that we can offer. It's a fun and safe place for joyful Judaism, building Jewish community, and opportunities for in-depth specialty experiences balanced with a variety of activities and a chance to try new things, build relationships, and grow their self-confidence.
In addition to the daily activities, campers will enjoy on-site entertainment and themed all-camp programs. Each week will culminate in a Shabbat celebration focused on celebrating the accomplishments and growth in the week. JCamp West offers three weeks of consistency and diversity, with exciting opportunities for new experiences and making new friends who live in the same area as you.
We have been working for the last two years to bring this first Jewish day camp on the Westside to life and cannot wait for you to join us on this journey. I hope you are ready because it is going to be a blast!
